This home is perched on a small incline overlooking the ocean. Unlocking the dramatic vistas with fenestration 270 degrees around the house introduces an abundance of light. High ceilings and double volumes created rooms with volume in which the waves’ sound echoed.
About the Project
A beach home in the veld. This scope required a home in which the owner wanted to see, smell, and hear the ocean but was not able to feel the sand underneath his feet. Instead when one exits the house you enter the flora of the South Cape.
